This class is for students with some Belly Dance experience. We’ll explore the use of our breath to alter quality of movement, expand on layering, micromovement, dynamics, musicality, group and solo choreography and improvisation techniques, and much more.
Kryss has extensive embodied knowledge of Egyptian, Turkish & Vintage Orientale Belly Dance as well as training in Ballet, Modern, Flamenco, and Indian Classical Dance. Kryss is a certified Dancemeditation instructor. Dancemeditation is a movement practice that encourages deeper connection with embodied self and working into a flow state. Kryss’ Belly Dance teaching style is formed by all of these.
