Crescent Lotus Studio is available for hourly rentals for weekly classes, photoshoots, and personal/group rehearsal.

Recurring Weekly Rentals – $30/hr
If you would like to rent the studio for a regularly scheduled rehearsal or class, please check the calendar for possible availability. We try to keep everything up to date but don’t always succeed. Please contact us to confirm availability.  Monthly rent is due on the 1st of the month for all secured time slots that month.

Dance/Movement Event Hourly Rental – $50/hr
Looking for a space to hold a workshop or audition? Check the calendar for possible availability and contact us to confirm and complete booking.

Private Rehearsal
Time alone in front of big mirrors is so needed when getting ready for a performance, audition, competition, etc. Text/Call Kryss (504) 382-5199 to discuss rates. Note: the floors are bamboo so tap and flamenco don’t work well  in the space. The ceilings are 9 foot so hooping and poi are a challenge.

Check: Make payable to “Crescent Lotus”, mail or drop off at studio. INCLUDE Name of recipient. Your email address and Recipients email address.

PayPal: Click Here – In “Message” field, enter type and dollar amount of your purchase. We will send you a PayPal “Money Request” once payment is received your Gift Certificate/Receipt will be sent by email to you or the recipient of your gift, your choice.

Dancers bring lots of energy and entertainment to a variety of occasions, i.e. weddings, birthdays, retirements, baby showers, bachelorette parties, festivals, themed parties and more. 

Crescent Lotus Studio can connect you to an individual dancer for your event or a troupe of dancers to provide a show at your party.  Many of our instructors are also actively performing around New Orleans and across the states.

We offer a variety of Private Party Packages for bringing your party to the studio as well.

Performance Styles Available:

  • Belly Dance by NOLAmazigh Dance Troupe, providing soloists and choreographed troupe performances in Cabaret Style, Tribal Style and Folkloric Middle Eastern Dance.
  • *Burlesque by Bella Blue. Available for performances and instruction.  
    *Bella is the Owner/Director of The New Orleans School of Burlesque. Please contact her directly for all your Burlesque performer needs.
  • Salsa by Liquid Rhythm Inc Salsa Team.
  • Dat Flash Mob by MoeJoe Bounce Fitness and Flash Mobs.

To Hire a Dancer/Dancers

Costs vary depending on what you are looking for.

Please Keep the following questions in mind when looking to hire a dancer:

  • What is the event?
  • Where is the event to be held?
  • What day/time is the event?
  • What is your budget?
  • How long of a performance are you envisioning?
  • Did you want any props included? (This is Belly Dancer specific…Veils, swords, candles)
  • How many dancers are requested/required?
  • Do you have a preference over modesty of costume? (Belly Dancers can have exposed midriffs, or not, female Salsa dancers tend to show a lot of leg. Consider your guests/the audience and let us know if there are any concerns.)
  • Will there be a DJ or CD Player with adequate speakers available or will the performer have to bring their own sound system?
  • Will there be a place for the performer to change, if necessary?
  • Is the performance a surprise?
