Crescent Lotus Dance Studio opened in February 2007. Since then it has become a sanctuary and second home for many students and instructors. We believe that dance is a doorway to understanding, and taking ownership of, our bodies. By learning to dance we become connected to music, each other, and ourselves. Loving the body you live in is the first step towards greater confidence and a stronger YOU.
The instructors at Crescent Lotus provide a safe and positive environment for personal exploration and the building of community through the timeless, borderless art of dance. Our classes are open to adults 16 and older. We welcome all genders, preferences, races, and religions. All Humans Dance.
Crescent Lotus is proud to be home to the NOLAmazigh, The Wiggling Navels of Crescent Lotus, Liquid Rhythm Inc. Salsa, and New Orleans’ first Pound Fitness class. We are also a Fat Chance Belly Dance sister studio and a founding member of New Orleans Dance Network.
